Method 1:

A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7, H=8, I=9, J=10, K=11, L=12, M=13
N=14, O=15, P=16, Q=17, R=18, S=19, T=20, U=21, V=22, W=23, X=24, Y=25, Z=26

Method 2:

A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7, H=8, I=9, J=1, K=2, L=3, M=4
N=5, O=6, P=7, Q=8, R=9, S=1, T=2, U=3, V=4, W=5, X=6, Y=7, Z=8

To find your name number, add up the letters in your name. If you get a number that has more than one digit, add up those digits. Repeat the process until you get a single digit from 1 to 9. This is your numerology name number. For example, if your name is Jane, your name number is generated like so:

J=10; A=1; N=14: E=5; = 30;
3+0 = 3.with Method 1,
Or
J=1; A=1; N=5; E=5; = 12
1+2=3, with Method 2

(As you can see, it doesn't matter which numbering system you use).

What name do you feel comfortable with?

Many people have nicknames. Let's take John Smith as an example.

His nickname may be Jonno, Smithy, Smithie, Smith, JS or something totally unrelated to his name - perhaps he is into a particular sport and likes people to know him by a name that represents his sport.

The main thing is that this is what you prefer people to call you.

If others call you by a name that you don't feel comfortable with then the numbers relating to the letters of that name can also be summarized to give you some insight into the sort of things you are likely to rebel against.

Again this can show certain influences in your life. If your mum wanted to call you John and your dad preferred the name Steve then this can give you an insight into the expectations that your parents had of you. (All this valuable information can help you to understand yourself and others).

Going back to the subject of nicknames - these are often dropped as an adolescent reaches maturity. At this stage they may prefer to be known by their birth name (or something else).

The name that they adopt at this stage can give insight into the person that they have become.

Example, Jonno becomes John or Jack (as maturity approaches we tend to use the name that we prefer. This also reflects the influences of our upbringing).

Although destiny isn't fixed from birth, it shows the path that would be followed without the influence of outside factors.

These outside factors can also be numerically analysed so ascertain whether they are positive or negative factors.

(Remember - numerology is about figures and in mathematics numbers have relationships and values - and equations).
